Lisa Tulfer writes:
As part of my job with Ely Diocese, I have recently started working with Mosaic Creative, who will be delivering their new community development programme, Stories on the Street, in Wisbech this summer. I will write more as the programme develops, but it is aimed at those people who have participated in the diocesan discipleship course in the Wisbech area, and who are exploring ways of ministering in their local context. More details about Stories on the Street can be found at http://www.mosaiccreative.co.uk/what-we-offer/community-development-training/stories-on-the-street/
Elizabeth Jordan (Lay Development Adviser, Chelmsford Diocese) has contacted us with the following:
I have produced a Grove booklet which develops the theme of the workshop I ran at the Shared Ministry conference. So it should be of interest to those who were there – and others who are trying to help local churches work together.
The booklet is entitled Honest conversations in Churches – Exploring expectations together and is P152 in the Pastoral series. It explains processes by which congregations, especially clergy and lay people, can communicate their hopes fears and expectations at times of change. It suggests that such dialogue will build trust and improve relationships, laying essential foundations for sharing ministry together.
The booklet is available from the Grovebooks website, http://www.grovebooks.co.uk
